I've purchased a Yahama YSP 2200 for a sale price of £400, as the new models are about to be released in the UK. My understanding is the updated equivalent model is possibly going to be more like twice that price. Seemed like a good deal, I'm not fussed about wired sub in my setup (maybe more reliable than wireless anyway) or Bluetooth which I can add on for small cost, but the soundbar has turned out to be faulty out of the box and needs it PCB replaced.
Currently with Yamaha for repair, but bit nervous that it's faulty out of the box. I've been offered 5 year warrantee for £45 for peace of mind, as they have no replacements in the shop - this was last one. Told I'll get new model should the soundbar not be able to be repaired if breaks down within that period.
Views on if I stick with it or get money back and go for something else would be much appreciated. Thanks!
