Got my Paradigm Studios today. I have a matching system again. It took a couple of hours to set them up. Most of the time I spent assembling the stands for the front speakers.

Just have a picture I took with my phone. I'll take a nicer one with my camera after I clean my living room. (That could be a while :) )

Been listening to a bunch of music but I'm going to put in a movie as soon as decide which.

These have the cherry veneer. It looks a lot nicer in person than the pictures on Paradigm's web site.

I'm really happy with the sound. They throw a nice wide soundstage and image really well. They are probably a little more analytical than my Jamos but I'm ok with that.

Oh man I love getting new speakers!!! CONGRADULATION!!

I really love that center channel stand!...was that the new release at CES this year!!?? The one you can listen from & eat off at the same time!!?? So innovative :D

Analytical can be good...as long as whatever your playing was recorded well. They will be very revealing so playing less than stellar sources may not be pleasant. But the upside is, good recordings will be clean & crisp. So stop reading this & go enjoy your new speakers!!...while cleaning the livingroom so we can see the rest!!!!!!! :O

I am using the same stands for my surrounds with a couple of old phone books to raise them up a bit.

In addition to a lot of different music, I watched The Matrix Friday night and AC/DC Live At Donnington last night. Surround stuff is great. I wasn't sure if the 10s and the center would be big enough to keep up with an 80 Hz crossover but they are more than fine. I played the AC/DC concert kind of loud. If my speakers needed any breaking in, I'm sure they got it.

I'm also amazed at how good the 20s are for two channel, with and without a sub. There's an interesting track, Yulunga by Dead Can Dance. It has some weird chanting vocals that morphing into a sort of middle eastern thing and a bunch of interesting percussion. About 2 minutes in there is a maraca that is panned hard left. It sounds like it is coming from way outside the left speaker. Fun stuff when I'm in audiophile mode.

Congratulations!!!!

I did not know anyone had any money to buy speakers these days.

I must be the only one trying to recover from the financial train wreck of 2008.

Cherry cabinets always look good and a great choice. They tend to go with everything.

Thanks for sharing. Post some more photos once your room is in order!!!

These speakers basically KOed my tax refund plus a little more. I'm just doing my part for the economy and my local dealer. :)

Got my refund yesterday. Paid one card off and I will probably buy some kits to build new speakers, but it isn't going to eat anywhere near the whole refund.

What kind of rears are you going to or already use to go with that setup? Looks good BTW.
