Yeah, but, well, ya know.....

Do you have Paul Simon's Graceland?
Funny you ask! Unreal. I am playing this right now. It's been a top 25 album for me since probably 1975. I also brought this over the Mark's place.
I still haven't played any real rock. Maybe some Deep Purple Machine Head next!
I do not have Graceland.

You could play 'Lazy' from Made In Japan or their version of 'Kentucky Woman' from YouTube since it was never on a recording.

I had Made in Japan, but didn't like it compared to their studio LP's. Sold it.

I've been quite busy today. Drove 30-some miles this morning to snare the Kef's. Set them up, played a couple LP's. Then had to re-arrange a couple things for this freezer I picked up at Costco. It fit swimmingly in my Dodge Journey. Lift gate closed fine! I payed a neighbor kid to help me get up the steps into the house. Fastest $10 he ever made! It was worth it. I got in and out of the car fine, but I wasn't strong enough to pull it up the steps with my 2 wheeler. Bummer! I got it in place in my utility room. But I won't be plugging it in for 24 hours.

I've often wondered what would be the consensus or generally what is best if playing music from Youtube, do you flip to stereo mode (that is, if your system is a HT) or just leave it in whatever DSP you have for TV?

But more basic finishes save a lot of money.
It's not that. It's the colors. White does nothing for me and the wood grain is far too orange-skewed for me. Gloss black it would have to be, but only because it's the one I wouldn't want the least.

His new Qs have a much more palatable shade of wood grain.

I usually skew to grills off on most speakers but these look fairly decent with them on. I do like the center with the grille on better as well. The towers I feel like I would still want them off as well, but that mismatch might also drive me a little crazy in the end too.

I have the towers 7.5 inches from the wall. The center is sealed, which is great so I can tuck it in a tad.

I've decided to use all the grills. I noticed if I am going down the hall past the right speaker and I am carrying something, I don't want to be careless and bump it. I quit drinking weeks ago, so the chances of that has become less probable however.

Watching some TV tonight and this center is far better than the Cornwall, which I thought was pretty good. Voices are very clear, but stronger too. Now I'm playing a mono Beatles record and the sound is very tight (just the center playing). Not as bassy as the Cornwall, but tighter. "I Should Have Known Better" sounds like Beatle George is playing his Gretch right in the room here. And the bass is pretty good actually. Not boomy, but tight. @Trebdp83 told me a while back how to set the Onkyo to play just through the center with mono music. Yeah, I like this center over the Cornwall, no doubt.

Thinking I might get a two or three channel external amp. I have to crank the AVR up a lot more now to get the volume I am accustomed to listening to music. That's not a huge deal, but would that potentially extend the life of my AVR?

I was waiting for that, and it didn't take long. And yes, it likely will prolong the life of your AVR. That AVR is not really suitable to drive those speakers at high spl. I should have checked this before. According to the spec sheet, the minimal impedance is 3.2 ohms. That will be an issue when you have three bass drivers. Those are likely big boy amp speakers requiring robust amplification if you are going to play them loud.

What range of power should I look for? I will see what's available in the used market. I shouldn't pay a lot at the moment. I still want to pay my car off around late summerish.

Q11's need 15-225 watts. Think a minimum of 95 wpc would suffice? I might need two, stereo plus a mono. Three channel amps are not real common and are likely out of my price range.

Good plan- appliances with a compressor/evaporator really don't like to be tipped over, then powered soon after.

What did the display show for volume level the last time you used the system?

I have mentioned it before and while I understand that realism is easier to attain at somewhat higher SPL;

I went to see some people at a higher end audio store and while we chatted, the owner was setting up some kind of equipment to get it ready for deliver/installation. He had music playing at a low level and I walked toward the speakerss to check out the dispersison, which was much easier to hear than if the SPL was higher because of the wall reflections. I asked if many people comment on being able to hear so much detail at low SPL and he paused before saying that they do. Loud means reflections and less reflection reveals more of what the speakers/system can do.

How do they sound if you set the Onkyo to use all three main speakers, in mono? My system is only stereo and when a mono source plays, the sound seems to come from the center- with all three, yours should sound pretty lush.
