Actual distance isn't particularly meaningful was the point. That's what I was getting at earlier too. When I'd get suspicious is if it's sets like 40' or something crazy. YIOF said it's doubled his distance before. Not exactly sure why it would do that, unless it's an acoustic nightmare. I think a doubling of distance means impulse response problems as that would take out a lot of delay. The thing I like about audyssey is that it sees the room acoustically vs line of sight.
