I inquired about preordering and was told no on the Preorder but did manage to say.
the new DVD player will be 981 in black, between $200 to $250, HDMI, full 1080p upconversion, SACD playback,same DCDi processing as I believe the 971.
available sometime "early December"
as for formal specs....none
