A guy in Illinois was selling a pair of RS-3000's for $59 on Marketplace. Says they work perfectly but need surrounds. Photos looked real good. I asked him if he'd consider shipping to Minnesota. He said he'd look into it. It was several days ago, so I continued shopping and found the 2000's. Today, he boxed them up and put them on ebay since they have shipping pricing tools. He texted me to see if I was ready so no one else would buy them. Got the link and the shipping was 80-something. Pricy, but cheap price for the pair, so I bought them! Now I have both 2000 and 3000's on the way! Both sets look terrific according to the pics. I ordered a surround repair kit too.
It'll be fun to compare them along with the Ascent Acoustics pair I have and decide what pair goes in what room. I think the ADS's will fetch $200+ when I decide to list them, which will be soon I imagine.
