New KEF Q series

I haven't seen any posts here on the new kef Q's. I bought the q700's and q600 a few weeks ago. Once they were broken in I'm amazed at the quality of sound. The detail,lack of harshness and balance are what I usually associate with much more expensive speakers, so I'm a bit suprised not to be hearing others who've found these. I'm returning the 700's to upgrade to the 900's as I don't want to be wondering how much better they are. Warning=they aren't furniture quality fancy boxes, but watching a movie who cares what the boxes look like...
anyone want to jump in with positive or negative experience please feel free..I'm powering them with a denon 3311 which is nice but not "audiophile" quality.

I was actually looking at the new Q-series yesterday on Vanns.com. The Q-900 looks intimidatingly large.

You say the cabinets don't look that great, what finish do you have?

I didn't find any reviews online but have generally read good things about KEF.

FYI Vanns has the older IQ-series on sale (half off).

I was intending to get the IQ's as I heard them at a friends. Then I heard kef had a newer line of Q's out. They did a major redesign of the speakers,they are Not the same. The few people I've talked to who've heard both or bought the new Q's rave how much more refined they are than last gen,which had very good reviews are..there are some authorized dealers giving up to 30% off retail on the new ones. I went with cherry btw,they're ok but not furniture grade finish,they put the $$ into the drivers and interior of the cabinets...they do sound pretty amazing. check out this link for more informed folks than myself and what they're saying.. http://www.avforums.com/forums/speakers/1348028-all-new-kef-q-series-owners-thread.html
