New 5.1? Sounds bar

My daughter just picked up a PS 5 and sound just wasn’t cutting it on her sound dock 10. So we went out and picked up what’s labeled as a 5.1 JBL on sale at what I thought was a decent price. Her house is pretty small so she doesn’t really have room for a lot and she want’s to save for a desktop setup for an Omen gaming pc being built. Hopefully doing a DAC with amp , bookshelves and sub for that. But this JBL sounds decent for $349. On sale from $599.

I have the same one I believe and I have it setup in my trailer cottage in the spring/summer months and guest room in the fall/winter months. It sounds good for what it is but its nowhere as good as 5 seperate speakers. It has one of the bigger subwoofers out there as far as soundbars goes with a 10" driver.

I would buy it again for the noncritical use that I use it for.
