But I like those brands. They make high-end speakers and a lot of the same technology is also used in their lower-end speakers.

Just use the LCD for adjusting the speaker trims/channel levels, source select, and volume. He doesn't have to do auto room EQ or anything else, which he wouldn't do anyway with an integrated amp.
