Oppo HDMI cable

Glad you got everything working and isolated the problem. FYI, I have been using the free Oppo cable that came with my DVD player for over a year. It sounds like a quality issue with the free Oppo cable, but it is not an HDMI version issue (1.2 vs. 1.3, etc.)
If you give oppo a call they will probably send you a replacement cable for use on your other gear.
