Hello, pretty new to this forum and the AV/Hi-Fi hobby in general. And i have a dilemma. My system consists of a Denon AVR3808, 2x Canton CD220 rears, 2x CD250 fronts and another CD250 for the mid channel. Now i want to replace my front channels for some bigger speakers for a better stereo, a.e tower speakers, and im planning to bi-amp the fronts. What i was wondering was:
1.With a pair of towers for fronts, will i lose the overall home cinema performance or at least some of it?
2.Isnt it true that all the speakers in my system are recommended to be from the same brand and as similar in character as the rest of my setup ?
3.I have a very small room. Is there any general rule on the speaker design and/or layout that will work in smaller rooms ?
4.Any tower speakers you can recommend that should work well with the rest of my system ? (At the moment i have my eye on Canton Karat 770DC, Chrono 507 or Ergo 607) The speaker brands i have access to are: Canton, Dynaudio, JBL, Dali and Paradigm.
Some help will be greatly appreciated.
