Need Measuring Help

Hello,

First time posting in this Forum. So, for my first thread:

I need help with calibrating. I recently purchased a Denon x4000 and 2 SVS PB-1000s and 4 Dayton Audio- SUB 1200s.

Now, with the dual PB-1000s I can easily "hear" which phase works with and against each other.

But as far as my 4 SUB 1200s, its difficult. So I need that piece(s) of equipment all you guys out there are using/doing to actually measure the best results.

I'm testing the placement of the 2 PB-1000s and 4 SUB 1200s in several places and wanting to dig more into audio, and understanding. THANKS!

Look up Room EQ Wizard, a freeware measurement program that you can download at the Home Theater Shack forum. With a Radio Shack SPL meter and a cheap outboard sound card you can take accurate low frequency measurements.

I was going to suggest some form of RTA meter, but they can get pricey.
