A Ampacity Audiophyte Jan 1, 2005 4 0 0 Jan 1, 2005 #1 my kenwood is no longer haveing static in the left side it just quits.... the lights stay on . but the sound just cuts off i don't hear the click it makes when it comes back on it just sets there. if i turn the volume up it might come around but not likely if i turn the power off for a while it'll come around for a bit and go back off? any one know whats going on besides the death of my only stereo?

L Leprkon Audioholic General Sep 10, 2004 1,424 0 0 Jan 1, 2005 #2 sounds like it might be a short in the speaker wire, causing the receiver to either shut off or overheat. check your connections to make sure something isn't crossed up.

A Ampacity Audiophyte Jan 1, 2005 4 0 0 Jan 1, 2005 #3 hey i went and checked all the connections and it didn't seem to help i even took off the 2 12" i miss them but the stereo goes on and off its on for 30 secs and and off for 3 and right now it hasn't even come back.... HELP!!!!
