SVS Dual SB1000's ordered. :D
For sealed 12"s, I would have went with these Dayton kits. They are only $80 more than the SB1000, and I am sure they will be far higher performers. The drivers on those things alone weigh nearly as much as the entire SB1000, and you get a more powerful amp with more controls. Yeah you have to put it together, but assembly is very easy, all you have to do is glue in the damping material, and screw in the driver and amp, would take maybe a half hour.

Congrats! NHT + SVS.

Probably the best damn $1400 stereo system.

Are you getting some stands and placing the NHT atop the SVS like towers? :D
I will get stands eventually, but right now I will probably put the bookshelves right on top of the subwoofers until they come. Now I have to get a pre amp and amp.

Oh... and it didn't end up being even $1400. More like $1300. The subs were $950 shipped when you buy 2, and NHT did let me have the sale price on the Absolute Zeros (excellent customer service over there, that goes a long way) so $352 for the pair of those = UNDER BUDGET! :D

Congrats on the nice speaker system. I bet all of that will sound quite excellent. Peace and goodwill.

Love it when things go your way, huh?

Even when I had those baby NHT SuperZero and single 10" sub, I was extremely happy with the crystal clear accurate sound. So I am sure the Absolute Zero (AZ) are even better.

I remember when I first saw the HTM measurement of the AZ. I knew NHT is all about accuracy. But a $200 speaker w/ +/- 0.9 dB FR is just really unbelievable.

am currently running the Debut Carbon TT through a Marantz 6008 AVR with the Absolute Zeros and SB1000. I love the Zeros, but am a bit underwhelmed by the rest. I cant get these 2 12" subs to put out what my one JBL floor-firing 10" did before. I think I need to make adjustments.
