Hi guys I already started something similar at a different thread.
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=750447
And I am getting soon a Denon 2807 and according to some friends of mine that now own really nice speakers tell me that the best speaker for the bang at the entering range is the Cambridge Soundworks. The question now is which speakers setup, at this moment I plan to focus on front speakers and a center channel, the rear is not as important and I plan to get the subwoofer later on in time. My appartment is not that large, but I wanted something with reasonable power so that if I moved I still have space to grow around.
Front MC400-500 or M80
Center MC400
rear S300, MC300/400/500 (specify), or M80's, maybe use the old sony booshelfs I own, they rate at around 65watts.

This is all B-stock. So what setup would be nice? I tried the M80s at the store and really liked them, one handsome pair of speakers I can purchase some stands to have them a little taller.

I am open to sugestions of different brands and such, what drew me to CSW is 10yr warantee this includes the b-stock and my boss whos a dentist actually had them in the conference area, they sounded really nice, my friend also had a set, he tried to unload his on me, but I prefer buy b-stock with warantee since its same stuff (he inherited some bling and upgraded himself to a martin logan mirage, he got a good deal $850 b-stock at magnolia, I envy him). I could also opt to invest a bit more on only two bookshelfs or tower speakers, budget is around $500-600 max, would bend a bit more if I found a deal like my friends.

I know this won't help much, but I like Cambridge speakers. In fact I just got an Ensemble II off eBay, and it showed up today! I didn't need 'em, just got a good deal and decided to salt 'em away for my folks, my brother, a 3rd computer system, etc.

Buying B-Stock or refurbed direct from them is probably as safe as new. They're a pretty decent deal, too.

I did some research on flooshing, I don't think it would apply because I never gave details of how I would acquire the b-stock for ordering, I said the prices I have for me to purchase, I will edit the prices out. I did make the other thread first by mistake in the wrong place. One more think its el lover not al lover.

Does anyone else have anything to add to this? Someone commented on using a single M80 as a center channel, wouldn't the MC400 make a better center? How about the front? M80s or MC400 or 500? as for the back either MC400/500 or SC300, the S300 are surround speakers, I don't know if I'm sold on it. I think I would like to stick to cambridge soundworks since I have some knowledge of their lineup. Does anyone recommend any other brand? I am looking mainlyfor front right and left and a center speaker, it can be 2 bookshelfs or 2 floorstanding units.
