I found the last RC LCR at the store, it was the demo..I bought it openbox for $299.

Now I have the Rc-70 pair, rc lcr center, the yamaha receiver, klipsch bass.

I connected the two towers and center(rc-70) using the high level connectors(ones on the top). But the bass has a left and right input..I only plugged in the right one because the receiver only seems to have one output and it isn't separated to left and right. I also saw that the bass has High level in...so maybe the speakers should be playing low? Any ideas on what I should do?

And since I only have these speakers, what's the best mode to use? stereo? 5.1, 7.1?

Thanks for the advice.

1) You need to start your own thread.

2) You need to READ YOUR MANUAL.

Thanks Zumbo! You've been a great help!

I do have a couple more questions for you. I'm trying to decide if it's worth while getting some 12 gauge speaker wire to replace the 16 gauge stuff I'm using right now. Do you think it will make a noticeable difference? enough to make it worth while? The other question I have is about a power conditioner (like the monster power bar/conditioner). Is something like that needed for a small set up like this? Or would it only be worth while if I had a large theater room?

Thanks again!

I do not think the speaker wire would make a noticeable difference what-so-ever. However, I do recommend 12 gauge.

I use a Cyperpower UPS. There are many to choose from. Just get what you feel is sufficient for you.

This is what I use:

Explanation of why I purchased such an expensive ups.

1) Prices listed are retail, not actual cost from authorized dealers. I got a fantastic deal from PC Nation.

2) I have a lot of very expensive components.

3) I have lost many components due to power problems.

4) Most of my failures were due to power going out and coming back on over-and-over, even when system was in stand-by.. I live in the woods in a very old neighborhood. Many trees, wildlife, along with old power lines are very problematic.

5) The unit I purchased has a buck boost feature. It maintains constant voltage in my system at all times.

6) During the situation of a power outage while I am using my system, I can safely shut my system down without it being instantly shut down.

7) I purchased a unit specified to operate under the amount of max load of my amp.
EDIT:WHICH WILL NEVER OCCUR.

Thanks for all the help Zumbo! As of right now there's nothing else I have to ask. Everything is working great and sounding awesome! Watched Inception last night, ohhh myyy god! How did I live with the built in TV speakers for so long?

Thanks!
