Need Advice - looking for a decent sub under $300

hey folks
I don't have too much money to spend, but my home theater is in dire need of a sub. I can only afford to spend $300 or less, which I'm aware gives me a considerable amount of limitations. An 8" sub would be ideal, but 10" would be ok if it was significantly superior in performance. i'd like a musical sounding sub, as i'll be playing DVD-Audio on a regular basis..

here's my current setup:
2 infinity bookshelves
1 klipsch center channel
2 bose cubes for surround

any suggestions? they would be greatly appreciated.

The Hsu STF-1 is smashing with music! It would also be fine for home theater in a smallish room. I like it better than any sub I've owned (for music). For HT (and my large room), I need more oomphpower.
