I'd still stick to sub specialists myself (I'd probably look at Hsu and SVS first), altho an excellent price on the Polk could be interesting. Your gear is limited as far as integration of the sub goes (I assume that receiver only has a full range pre-out, no bass management for the speakers) so that's a consideration as to what the sub might be able to provide for dsp options to help integrate. Audible difference would depend perhaps on your goals for extension (how low it can go) or spl goals (but with those speakers and that amp, that's not likely to be an issue), but not in general terms for this range of frequencies....
