This is my first attempt at setting up a home theater and I need some advice on speakers. Here is what I have so far:
Onkyo TX-NR3007 Receiver
Polk PSW-505 300W Sub
Polk RM85 5.0 speakers (1 RM8-Center, 2 RM8-Surround, 2 RM7-Rear)
I have a little money left over and thought about purchasing some more speakers. Which of the following options would enhance my system the most?
1) Adding a pair of bookshelf speakers (maybe Polk TSi 100s or 200s)
2) Upgrading the center channel (maybe Polk CS10)
If I added bookshelves could the RM8s be used for height speakers?
Can the RM8 Center be used for anything if I replace it?
I don't have room for towers and my budget is around $250. System will be used for movies 60% and music 40%.
