Nad T755

Does this receiver bitstream multichannel audio over HDMI or does it handle HDMI video only? Pretty decent price on them right now but I need something that handles HDMI audio. I like NAD's musicality.

If I’m understanding your question – If you have a BD player that will decode the surround format & output digitally (PCM) via the HDMI, then yes, the receiver will do the rest. The specs don’t say much about the video capabilities though. Does it support 24fps, lipsync, deep color, does it convert/upscale video…?

Sorry. I should have been more specific. I do not own this receiver but I am considering it. I will be purchasing a blu ray player that will decode the lossless formats(TrueHD & DTS MA) but want to know if the T755 will output the decoded audio over HDMI or does it handle video only?

I read the manual, it handles video only, not audio.
