Wedding Photos...?

I was wondering what the etiquette was on the wedding photos? Are the bride and groom supposed to give their bridal party pictures of the wedding or are they just supposed to give everyone a wallet size with the thank you card? I don't know what the proper etiquette is or if there is proper etiquette to giving pictures. I thought that if you were in a wedding you would automatically receive pictures from the couple for being in their wedding. I'm not talking about receiving a whole photo album but 3-4 pics.
My son was in my uncle's wedding as the ring bearer in August 2006 and all we received was a wallet with the thank you card. Of course I took my own pics but how does the bridal party take pics if they are the ones standing up there?

If you have people that are in the wedding party, then you will want to speak to the bride and groom and ask for specific pictures and reimburse them for cost, or get in touch with the photographer. Many photographers now offer the 'album' online and allow all family and friends to order pictures as they like.

The bride and groom likely dumped $10,000 or more on the entire production, so not only don't they spend an additional $1,000 along with countless hours, trying to pick appropriate pictures for everyone, but they have never been expected to.

Instead, if you want some professional photos, you will want to look at their 'professional' album, or see if there is a website you can visit to see the photos which were taken and to choose some of your own right away.

I know one of my friends just got married a couple of months ago, and within 24 hours there was a full album up online and individual photos could be bought by anyone right away.

It is only typical to receive a small photo of the couple, typically with the thank you cards from the wedding.

Wedding Photos...?

Actually that is totally up to the bride and groom. It is a very nice gesture to give a photo to your attendents but that could get pricey if you order them from your photographer... I actually just sent them a thank you note and a picture with them in it of some kind...I don't remember but I know it wasn't a professional one. I didn't have the money ...I think they would ask you to order them one if they wanted one..But if you can afford it ,,It would be a nice gesture..
Oh yes,,, GOOD LUCK and Best Wishes for your Wedding..Just saw your Name...
I used to do professional wedding photos and I know they are very pricey for sure..but well worth the memories...
