I just got my Paradigm 20's. I'm really happy, but they are much larger, and heavier than my Athena's. I don't think wall mounting is an option. I need ideas for placement, and mounting. I think stands are the most likely option, but I'm not sure. I think rear stands will put the speakers to low. Any ideas will be entertained.

When you say to low I don't understand. But the ideal height for the rears was around 2' higher then ear level.

The main left and right surrounds should be to the respective sides of the listening area, above ear level if possible (ideally 2 feet or more) at an angle of 90 to 110 degrees

I agree, but how do you suggest I mount them. I'm concerned about the weight of these speakers.

As long as the mount is secured to a stud, I don't think you would have a problem. But I've never mounted them, so I really can't say. Hopefully someone that has will chime in. :D

2 2" #10 screws into a stud, and you could do pullups on 'em. Weight shouldnt be a problem if you use the right hardware.
