When the SVS PB-1000 started up I was a bit confused because I could barely hear it. I turned up the volume of the sub, then turned up the phase half way and even though I haven't calibrated with YPAO yet I can tell this sub is head and shoulder better than the Def Tech. I am already hearing lows I have never heard before, tighter bass than I have ever heard before. When I get this thing calibrated, look out. I feel like taking the day off tomorrow and playing with it all day.

Well I am keeping the box and packaging because I have a year to upgrade for full value of this sub. I may just go SB/PB-2000. One never knows but I will think about it.
