My HT system plans so far! Opinions needed

Don't know about Fluance, but the Hsu VTF3 mk4 may not see further discounts. It's already marked down 10%, I believe they are making way for the mk5s, which look to be a massive improvement but will cost $100 more. Those should be available around late November.

I may wait for the mk5 then if they are that much better... Money isn't exactly tight, it's just a matter of priorities... I don't mind spending 100$ more for a vast improvement.

-AA bookself L/R + centre
-Fluance XLBP rear surrounds (or would you guys think two more AA bookselves would be better?)
-HSU VTK-3 mk4 sub
-Denon x4000 receiver

Does AA or fluance have blackfeiday sales? What about HSu would it be worth waiting?

I would get another pair of AAL bookshelf speakers for surrounds.

As far as AA speakers, that is the best price - and not easy to beat them at twice the price.
Dennis does not make much money off them - it is more of a hobby for him.

The AA speakers might not make great surrounds, especially in such a small room. They're kinda sizeable, and they're rear-ported so they can't reasonably be placed too close to the wall. With them so close to the listening position you might also not get the best sound or surround effect. I vote strongly in favor of the XLBP.

I email Dennis for those Affordable Audio speakers two days ago, still no reply.... How long does it normally take? Does he ship to canada? There would probably be duty on them too eh? I'm tempted to go all fluance with their free shipping and lifetime warranty....
