Just got back from vacation, so I've missed the last few days. You have my condolences for your grandmother's passing. I lost my last grandparent about a year ago. I have found that it is easier to accept, when a loved one passes on after living a long, rewarding life. It's far more difficult when it's a young person, whose life has been cut short.
Of course, I can't speak for you, just of my own experience. Although we were sad each time one of my grandparents passed, it was comforting to know that they were not robbed of a full lifespan.
Just to illustrate, one of my sisters came within a hair's breadth of dying from an infection, just a few years ago. That experience was more traumatizing, by far, than the actual deaths of my grandparents.
May your grandmother rest in peace.
