Exactly, for the low price that new power-DSP is doing amazing job with literally one press of button. Hard-core DIY guys will probably prefer BFD as it is more involving (its not much of a DIY to press one button). However, as with SMS-1 you get much worse results with automatic process and you need a measurement setup to get matching results manually, why not use BFD instead then. For those who want results in full-auto, 8033AM is great investment. Backed up with room treatment the difference is unbelieveable. Its ridiculously small though (4inches wide) and doesn't look that fancy either. I managed to fade those dips with well placed DIY-absorbers (although not completely), they are quite local though and gone with only a couple of feet away from that point. Last edited: Feb 7, 2008
