Review of SVS PB12-Plus
I bought the Avia 2 disk and the Radio shack digital SPL meter.
The Avia disk is kind of elementary, but would be a good start for a beginner getting into HT.
I tweaked my color a little; very easy to do using the disk.
I used the Marantz speaker setup menu and the SPL meter to set the SPL of all my speakers equal, then I added 10 dB to the subwoofer. I bought a Radio Shack SPL digital meter for $49.99 It worked great and was very easy to use.
The speaker sound is much cleaner and better than the automatic Audessy setup.
Now I am really enjoying the SVS PB12-Plus sub. The sound is clear and not boomy. the deep sounds really come through clear.

I give it two thumbs up!! I am currently running without hte optional plugs which is rated down to 25 Hz.
Now that I have the video and audio calibrated, I just need to sit back and enjoy!
Take care and sound on
