soon i will hopefully be getting a new receiver (tx-sr805), i currently have a 5.1 (tx-ds777) setup and the 805 is 7.1 so i am going to upgrade the speakers also...
anyhow i was browsing around on ascends website and i think i am going to get 2 340se's 2 stands (mains) 340se c (center) and 4 170s with 4 wall mounts..
what does everyone think of that combo? will the smaller 170s sound ok with the big fronts?
and i also noticed you can now get ascends unfinished... i think i might do that and stain them myself, actually probably just poly them...
