On a side note, the driver on the Deep Sea Sound 24sc might be getting upgraded to the BHS-24 driver. Really big and heavy, I'm wondering how much more of an improvement it is over the previous HS-24. Would be nice to have accurate graphs of the Deep Sea Sound and the Captivator S2. I've "heard" that the SI HS-24 is one of the best drivers for low extension, low distortion, and high output. Is the Captivator S2's driver able to say the same? There is testing on the SI HS-24 driver on data-bass which seems to be really good, but the SI BHS-24 might be even better.

I am thinking that the deep sea mariana 24sc's driver (bhs-24) is the better driver out of the 2. I believe this driver would have lower extension and less distortion from the driver used in the S2.

Lower extension, I would guess so from the higher xmax, but lower distortion, I don't know. The regular HS24 had a relatively small VC, and this helps to keep inductance at bay. The BHS-24 is going to have a lot more inductance and related effects due to the more massive VC. I wouldn't be surprised if if actually had more upper bass distortion. However, that is just speculation on my part, and Nick, the guy who runs Stereo Integrity, is the one who would know, so I would ask him about that.
