Hmmm... An 8" driver, that would be a good punchy speaker.

And you're a handy man, so you can deal with that grille.

Why not then, and if you're not satisfied, just send them back (No Hassle Returns). ;)

That's what I think. And the price seems to be fair too.

Bob

Note: By the way, like your new Avatar. Must be close to Independence Day. :)

You ever heard of the brand?

The Avatar is a running joke from the "Boring" thread.

I've never heard of the brand. The three reviews look promising so that is a good sign.

Are you thinking of using these to replace the duals or putting them out by the pool?

I've had the Polk Atrium 45 for several years and they are nice. Only a 4.5in driver so I would not compare them to an 8" model. At 149 they are both around the same price.

No, never heard of the brand, but you got nothing to loose (No Hassle Returns).

* As for boring thread(s), Yep, I read you. Do you know where I'm from now?

I guess my fear is that they will sound good but won't hold up to the elements down the road and then I have something to loose.

Just going to add them to the system, way out on each corner of the house.

Hey Greg, will they be sheltered under a soffit or anything?
If so, they will fair much better than anything subjected to direct sun and rain.
FWIW : I take all my speakers inside during the winter months.

What the... The 4th of July preconditioned.

With all these new names or avatars (?), it's getting a bit confusing.

As far as I know, Independence Day fireworks only start at midnight. :)

It looks like the speaker wire connects in the front of these. That will be difficult to make a clean install won't it?
