Well subs are FN easy. Ported vs Sealed is the only question and the latter needing more EQ and amplification for extension...
i think im going to give a ported sub and one of those tempest a try. all i need is clamps, weights and some type of glue. anything else? i dont need to sodder crossovers etc?

Peoples: I'm not sure why this got sideways. But I think brady wasn't doing anything to warrant snark. I don't think he was given the benefit of the doubt however.

Going to let the back and forth slide and remind people that there is an ignore function and to please use if another's innocuous posts (IMO) rub you the wrong way.

Clamps and glue (I've used titebond 3) is all that's required, plus mounting screws really. I've used finish nails to add additional grip on glue up, but glue is strong as it gets. Crossover work is handled in the AVR. If you decide to build start a build thread so we can help and keep it straight for others to follow.
