LOL think I have one maybe two 12 inch 45s. Was a nice alternative but those were more available as I tended away from vinyl anyways.
I have Harry Nilsson's "Son of Schmillson" on MoFi double 45. I used to have "Nilsson Schmillson" on double 45 also but I watched a youtube that mentioned that the OP of that is so great and rivals the mofi. I found one at a used record store in Hayward, Wisconsin. Not a mark or indications of play on it, nearly mint for $15. I bought it even though I had the MoFi. It does play as good as the 45, so I sold the 45. I think I got $79 on ebay. About what I paid for it originally.
As far as the Santana album goes, I had a problem getting the seller to respond to messages or ship for 3 days. Not a peep. I decided to order the Amazon one without delay as I think it said "one available", then an hour later I got the shipping notification from ebay. I had a dilemma on my hands. Do I keep both and sell one in a few years after it hopefully goes up in value? A sealed 45 now goes for thousands of dollars. So I thought perhaps the 33 might go up a bit. So now, with the info I got from MoFi, I decided to return the Amazon one, unopened of course. I am dying to play it, but I will wait until the ebay one arrives on Monday to really know what to do. What started me on the path about the serial number was that the Amazon one has a 9000 number!
This LP should just shine on my system.
@TLS Guy, you should maybe hear it here or at your place. Lots of Latin percussion if you are not familiar with the album. I will make a recording of it probably first play.
