Enthusiast
I have Onkyo 607 and plan to buy Klipsch RF-42II Floorstandings (2), RC-42 II Center Chanel) and wanted to know how to calculate the watts to see if my receiver can handle the speakers or if the receiver will be working to hard and overheat. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!! THANKS!

Power output Front L/R: 90 W + 90 W (8 ohms, 20 Hz–20 kHz 0.08%, 2 channels driven, FTC), 105 W + 105 W (8 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.7%, 2 channels driven, FTC), 110 W + 110 W (6 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.1%, 2 channels driven, FTC)
# Power output Center: 90 W (8 ohms, 20 Hz–20 kHz, 0.08%, 2 channels driven, FTC), 105 W (8 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.7%, 2 channels driven, FTC), 110 W (6 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.1%, 2 channels driven, FTC)

It doesn't matter. Just get a good receiver and good speakers.

You have both you should be just fine.

www.accessories4less.com is the place to buy Onkyo. 95 sensitivity should have zero need for an external amp.

Any receiver can be driven into speaker-frying clipping if you try hard enough.

If you use your head and immediately turn it down if/when it starts to sound bad you should do fine.

No kidding, it sound's like the OP is out of control.

BTW, it's considered poor forum etiquette to start multiple threads for the same topic, I believe all of the content in your three threads could be condensed into one thread.
