I have a Marantz NR 1601 a/v receiver and it is working well with my current system however I cannot see the sound bar on my display (TV). I called Marantz and was told that I need a separate composite video cable to achieve this. So I purchased a yellow composite cable and have it running from my TiVo box (which serves as my cable box) and to the BD video input on the back of the NR 1601 (per Marantz's instructions). It's in BD because my display is running through the BD HDMI input. I changed all the settings per the manual for the volume display and the volume bar still does not appear. Interestingly, now the OCD menu shows up superimposed to whatever I'm watching on TV (versus over a black screen previously). Can you please let me know what to do to show the volume bar? It's literally driving me crazy. Thanks very much.
