Marantz 8400 vs Denon 3805.... Suggestions Please

I have the Denon 3805, with Paradigm Monitor 7's, CC-370, and SM-60R in-ceiling surrounds and it has been absoultey awesome. I've only had it for a month or so and it isn't fully broken in, but for sound I couldn't be happier, home theater and cd quality both kick a##. The only people that aren't happy are my neighbors. Denon 5805 for the masses? Wow, i want one for $1000 too

I agree with your statement for the most part, however Marantz has lower line stuff too (at least receivers, not DLP projectors, etc.). It seems that the technology is not shared between Marantz and Denon. Their equipment and features seem to vary quite a bit.
