I simply post to keep this tom foolery from spreading. I would hate for a newbie to run across this thread and think that Audio Karma has any lick of truth in his statements, because anyone with experience will certainly know better.

Audio_Karma: Why don't you spend your $ on something useful? You say that "you don't have any test equipment". Well, take that $ that you WASTED on fancy cables and buy some test equipment instead. THEN, you will realize that you wasted your $ on cables because the measurements don't lie.

Or, if you really want to spend $ for something useful, quit wasting it on cables and spend it on room treatments instead.

Maybe if Gene tries out all these products together in his Home Theater system we will find out the light output readings. And he will find out that ALL HDMI cables ARE NOT THE SAME!

You would have test gear yourself if you were truly interested in science. And, if you hadn't wasted your $ on cables, then you could afford some test gear.

I asked someone about this and they said my Plasma is running cooler because it probably allowing easier flow of energy/electricity to my Plasma.

Your Pioneer plasma only uses 3.3 Amps at max. according to the manual.
That's not even close to half ampacity of the stock power cord.
