M Klipsch sub not working

M klipsch sub has stopped working. I have had it for a good 6-7 years and it has always worked great.

Last night I did a MCACC with my new Pioneer receiver and watched a movie afterwords and it worked fine. This morning it has stopped working though. The power turns on and if I unplug it and plug it back in, it does one 'hit'. Not sure why it would stop working?

Any advise?

By "stopped working," what exactly do you mean?

If your sub is using an "auto on" feature, it's possible that the sub level set on your new Pioneer isn't high enough to keep it active (but maybe the movie had enough bass, and you had it loud enough, that you didn't notice the sub turning on and off). To help you out, though, we'll need to know what you mean by it stopped working.

I tried switching it from auto and on. Neither worked. It was working with a preseason nfl game this morning at low volume levels.

The sub was staying off at all levels once this started this afternoon. I unplugged it and plugged it back on and got the one 'hit' or pulse of the sub and then it showed the sub was on.

Blue light indicates it's on and red is it's off.

Okay. Double check on the Pioneer that the sub is set to be used, and that the speakers are set to "Small" (as appropriate). It's possible that you accidentally switched MCACC off or switched to another MCACC configuration (if you have a receiver with Advanced MCACC). It's also possible that, if you have your speakers set to "Large," that you just aren't listening to programs with an LFE track right now.

What does setting a speaker to large or small mean?

If a speaker is set to "small," then all frequencies below the crossover (that you set in the Pioneer's menu) that would normally go to that speaker will instead be sent to the sub. If a speaker is set to "large," then none of the frequencies from that speaker will be sent to the sub. If all speakers are set to "large," and the sub is set to be on in the Pioneer's menu, then only sounds from a low frequency effect (LFE) channel (the .1 in an X.1 audio track) will be sent to the sub. If that track doesn't exist, and all of your speakers are set to "large," then your sub won't make any noise even if you set up the Pioneer so that it will use a sub.

As Adam mentioned set your fonts to small and you should be all good

Set them all to small. A large speakers should be capable of playing as low and loud as a subwoofer. If it can't, it's small.
