Logic 7 on HK AVR 254?

I just purchased this unit today from BB. I cannot get it to switch to logic 7 mode. The OSD lets me switch to DPLII, stereo, etc. but it will not let me select Logic 7. Is there something I am doing wrong? The sound is great otherwise but I would like to be able to use the logic 7 mode. Someone help!

Okay, I have determined that it will let me switch to logic 7 when playing a cd. I have the cd player connected using analog inputs. My cable box is connected via coax and I cannot select logic 7 when watching tv. Can you only select logic 7 from a source that is connected via analog? Seems strange because I can use DPLII when watching TV. So can logic 7 be used with a digital connection or only analog?

Do you have 7 speakers connected and have you enabled the surround back channels?

No, only running 5.1

You need to turn the surround back channels on to utilize Logic 7. Default setting is off.

It'll work if you run analog, but you'll get drop outs in the surround channels. It's a known issue. Check out the AVS forums as I believe this came up there.
