WTF? That seems like it would have to be fake.
I would agree. If you take an extra set of shoelaces, run them down your pants so they are hanging out then cover up the already tied laces with... say some long and baggy pants.

Then as you shake your foot like crazy pull the extra laces up into your pants so you can't see them, and at the same time, pull your pants up a little bit to reveal the already tied laces - illusion pulled off.

It would be more believable in shorts. ;)

There is an old, old trick one can do with a rope or scarf (best) that allows you to shake it around (untied) until it ties (apparently) itself. This was a great bar trick back when we were out looking for a little 'action' on Friday nights, lol. "Can I borrow your scarf for a minute, miss?" ;)

But just using his foot wiggling, this guy doesn't have the kind of control necessary. I think BMX is right.

I have a real hard time believing that was all shot on one take.

Yeah, I think it is fairly evident that some of the cuts were right around 'snafu' moments (slinky) instead of just for effect. Yet, what is done as a single shot is still pretty darn phenomenal.
