Religeous Intent!

Last year during Chanaukah with a menorah in our window, proselytizers were still queing up at our door to get us to convert to the local form of Baptists. Some guy was pointing a pen at me until I told him that he is trespassing and acting agressive and I would be within my rights defending my home and family if I beat him to a pulp. He got real religion faster than anyone on death row.

Some insight on still active religions. Notice the active period about 600-500BC?

Judaism is about 4000 years old
Zoroestrianism is about 2600 years old
Hinduisn is about 2500 years old
Buddism is about 2500 years old
Taoism/Confucius is about 2500 years old


Now the upstarts based on Abraham/Judaism
Chatholicism is about 1950 years old
Islam is about 1500 years old
Protestantism is about 600 years old
Moronism is 180 years old
Jehovah's Witness is about 150 years old.

A couple of others
Baha'i Faith is about 150 years old
Sikhism is about 500 years old

Just because other religions came along or "evolved" from others does not mean the others are wrong. But you all must realize that whether or not there is a god, man created religion. And I really doubt that any man, living or dead ever talked to god (except if the Neflim really did come to earth 500000 years ago), because god has the whole freakin universe to deal with not just the events on piddely little rock orbiting one of trillions of a rather unassuming ball of gas that exist on the outer rim of one of billions galaxys

Take the bible as a history book, now look at all the world (small at the time) changing events that supposedly happened before Abraham decided to cut off the tip of Mr. Happy (circumsize himself). There was Gilgamesh, the rise and fall of the Summarians, Noah and the flood, the tower of Babel, Lot Sodom and Gamorah.

Despite all this, stupidity knows no religeous affilation.


Now, if there really is a god and he did create man, why are the genitals next to the anus? Who the F#&K in their right mind would put a playground next to a sewage area?

I am a Shintoist, the religion only dates back to early Japan... either or I also follow Buddhism and find other religious convictions interesting, but I hold on the top belief that people should get over peoples differences and accept differences. I just hate it though when people hide behind religion to make a point. I get a great deal of other religious folk being forceful that me being gay is a sin, that is going over the line and forcing views on some one... So yeah live and let live...
