H Hugh-Melody Audioholic Jun 17, 2010 #6 What's wrong with SoCal? I myself do like the Bay Area better but you got to live where you work so... Oregon would be nicer. majorloser said: Well, for one it's SoCal. Northern Cali would be a "maybe". But I'd prefer Oregon. There is no way I'd move into a large metropolis. Click to expand...

Hey...I'm pretty happy in Manhattan Beach! I grew up in the LA (South Bay) area though, but went to college in the SF Bay area....and do like it up there. These job postings look interesting. I currently work for a utility company, and like it. Wish I was more of a Sharepoint guru.

H Hugh-Melody Audioholic Jun 17, 2010 #9 Curtis, I'd say go for it if you don't mind the drive from MB to downtown LA. Plus, we do have company vanpool so it's free. cschang said: Hey...I'm pretty happy in Manhattan Beach! As an IT manager for a water utility that big, I'd be willing to bet they want somebody who's also very strong in SCADA and LIMS systems. But from the sounds of the job description, they seem to be looking for somebody to run their website(?).

I either take the 10 to 110 to 105, or 10 to 710 to 105......last night was definitely the 710....traffic was bad anyways. Last edited: Jun 18, 2010
