I got a pair yesterday. Got alot of help from cool members here! Thanks alot guyS for the nudge. I didn't want to flood Pogre thread, so thought I'd make a thread about them solely. A couple of pics from yesterday. I will post new pics once I get them cleaned up. Due to a toe accident yesterday I didn't get a chance to give them a good cleaning. I need space in my kitchen so I need to clean them today!

The Acoustic treatment on the front cleans up nice with armor all and I recommend it to keep that stuff conditioned .

Get those bad boys cleaned up and hooked up! We don't wanna hear any busted toenail excuses either. My wife loses a toenail every other week!

Can't wait to hear what you think of the sound. Looks like they may have been a real bargain. If there are any cross-over issues you always have people here or maybe Audio Science Review that can assist with a rebuild. Most people can handle a bit of wiring and soldering.

Well ready and clean. The front fabric feels like velvet. Only time I've seen those are on a high end Canton. Quite beautiful in person after a good cleaning. The tweeters look great and Shiny. The top holes were dusty and used a soft cloth to clean them. I wiped with a soft cloth and water and whipped right away with a dry cloth and looks great. They were well taken care of a couple of tiny struff if you look closeup on the back only. I change the dial to 0 Mark. I think me and Pogre got the deal of the year! Time to setup em up. I'm full of sweat. OK a couple of pics:

Got a bit scared when I hooked them up. Right speaker had no sound. Wiggled the wire to see if it made contact and nope. Had to lay it on the ground again and wiggled and nada. Then I took them out I heard sound. Took them out and put them in and they worked. Phew. ;) Still listening and treble is smooth and not spikey. The tweets are working fine, but read that are easy to get THEM If I needed a replacement. I'm using the Yamaha I bought at the same place and some 14 gauge wires. Also using my Cayin High Res player in Flac. Every driver is working as new! :) It's also my first speakers with a midrange. Some pics for hungry eyes:

Sweet man I can tell you that was a very good buy you got for sure oh and they really like about 5 good watts to really come alive . I would also recommend taking the time and check to see if the binding posts could be loose on the bottom plate I’ve had one or two that needed tighten up . Enjoy buddy !

Thanks Mark! I tell ya if you are in a small to medium room you definitely won't need a sub. These dig down without breaking up. Ill definitely check the bottom plate. I gonna have to move them so I can space them a bit better. I might move them to my bedroom. I'm playing a bunch of gens and so far I'm blown away by them. Where I have them now I can't sit in the center to get the Soundstage and separation I really want. Thanks for the push!

Woo hoo! Score! Those look great! Great to hear everything is functioning too. They're only gonna sound better once you figure out a good spot. That's so cool man. I'm genuinely tickled you found something really cool.
