(Obviously) That is the de-facto Jazz Docu!

I have the CD Box Set for it! I picked it up at Half Price Books years ago. I don't recall exactly what I paid, but it is rare for me to pay over ~$20-25 for a CD Box set, so I would assume it was around that price.
Didn't even know there was one until I tried to find a link for the dvd box set....but would be nice to actually have a playable soundtrack....

Earlier this year I picked up the Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool disc set. Both documentary bluray and concert footage from Montreux Jazz Festival appearances on dvd. Good stuff.

John Coltrane/Sam Cooke(Amazon too) docs on Netflix. Elvis Presley: The Searcher. Two part Doc on HBO. Focus on his music only.
