Is Revel W990 discontinued?

I have been informed by Revel dealer that Revel has, at this time, discontinued the W990 series speakers and they do not have any in stock to fulfill the order. They might decide to bring them back at a later date, but that would not be a decision they make until at least the end of the year.

He was told that the best in-wall speakers they will have available to fulfill the order are the W873’s

Has any one else heard the same news?

I don’t think they’re discontinuing them.

They are just out of stock.

IIRC these were the last 16 that were available to dealers a few weeks ago, as my bud who is a dealer grabbed them all, lol!

I can get you his info if you want to see if he has any left.

The W873's have an adjustable Tweeter were as the W990's do not. How about the W893's
