is $50 for a set of Monster SACD/DVD-A cables a good price?

i know everyone likes to bash for Monster and their overpriced cables but for the most part I hear they perform well.

I have been looking for a decent set of analog cables for my SACD player and I was about to buy a set from Blue Jean for $80+ s/h

Just i have just run across some 6' moster cable SACD cables for $50 (under $60 with shipping) If I can save $20 to $30 on cables without sacrificing anything I am going to get the Monster cables.

You're right, people do like to bash them for being overpriced...and that is fair bashing. You are also right that they do perform well.

Since they do perform well and they are at a price that is lower than you can otherwise find then IMO you should by them and feel good about it.

I think a lot of people complain because Monster is sue happy, picks on mom & pop shops, and their marketing borders heavily on evil.

But, I have a fair amount of Monster stuff that works and sounds great and eBay is the best way to go for sure.

There is not much to audio interconnects. For comparison, Try Radio Shack, WalMart, Target, Home Depot, *****************, local electronics store.
