Now I've seen two versions: I've been reading the kid was a High School student, others say it was a University student.
All say it was poor translation.

I don't know....
She doesn't seem to be the statesman that the position demands or that the American people deserve / pay for.
Bush had less of a reaction when two shoes were winged at his head.:D
agreed!....

Seriously, I have no life.
Because Bush was/is a moron. Hell, I wanted to wing shoes at his head.
Yet, John Kerry had his own college transcript suppressed because W's grades were better. Hmmm.

You can call Bush a moron all you want but this is not a good example of how a diplomat should respond to a question in a foreign country. She should have asked for it to be re-phrased, maybe said "Excuse me?" or something but biting the guy's head off was NOT what she should have done. For that matter, she could have used the same words but answered more calmly and it would have been fine. Then, if she wanted to go out and kick a puppy, she could have.

Hey, Hillary wasn't the first woman SoS. I always like Madeline Albright. But I can't picture her blowing up like that.

What blowing up? That's her in a good mood. You should see her angry.

Yeah, she might have handled that better but when the camera is on you 24/7 you're gonna get caught with your cranky pants on. I've yet to meet a woman that didn't go off like a powder keg for no apparent reason every so often.

F^%& it, let's make highfigh SOS and call it a day. :D

Truth be told, I'm not a Hilary hater...but I saw this and could not stop laughing. I hope that it's not too risqué - I should have Alex post it. :D

I hear ya, but...

...she's not exactly a newcomer at this public eye shiite. She's been basking in it for well over twenty years. After being the wife of the governor of Arkansas for a few years, the first "lady" (and not a shrinking violet, either) of the US of A for eight years, and then an outspoken senator from New York for a few, followed by a run for the presidency, I believe she should have a better handle on her temper by now and not be so quick to blow up, particularly at an inexperienced youngster who was most likely nervous as all he!! to begin with.

She's not a shrinking violet, she's a shreaking violet. Not beholden to telling the truth, either. I saw her on the news this AM from Africa and someone asked about the US position on all of the problems in the various African countries. I don't have a problem with her disagreeing with the Bush admin's policies but I do have a problem when she says "This will be one of the top priorities for the Obama administration, unlike the last eight years of an administration that denied it was happening". First, I though the US should be the Obama Administration's top priority and second, the Bush Administration didn't deny it was happening but they didn't consider fixing it as the responsibility of the US.
