I'm thinking of a word and it starts with the letter "B".

I can't believe this beluga whale is the Secretary of State and representing our country to the rest of the world.

(I know I'll get hate mail from PETA for slandering this fine animal)

Heaven forbid a woman should actually be tough and speak her mind. I bet you think sufferage was a mistake too.

No, he actually said what does Bill think through her mouth, because he said "her husband". I had to listen to it again because that is what I thought at first two, but that does seem to be what he was asking.

I don't have a problem with her response though. It may be a little pissy, but the question was a bit out of line (or it was a mistake) IMO.

She is, as she said the Secretary of State and a woman, she needs to be a B____ to do her job the man's world of politics.

I'm glad she's not president, but I have a feeling that clip is taken a bit out of context.

If a man in that position had made a similar comment every one would be on their feet cheering.

Yes, she's a B. I always felt that way. Maybe that's why she holds the position she does.

Something was definity lost in translation...but Congo isn't known as a front runner on human right issues and especially those which involve a women's opinion!

I don't want somebody nice being the Sec of State. If I did Mary Tyler Moore would get my vote.;)

My slant on it is; how would it feel if at my workplace some one looked over what I was doing and asked if they could call my wife and ask what she thought what she thought.

It appears to me that the person asking the question didn't have a good grasp on the fact that she doesn't need to answer to her husband in her position. I think that's what pissed her off. And I can't take issue with that.

I'm sure she has been dogged by questions about former President Bill Clinton since his rescue mission to North Korea; that (in her eyes) made her look bad.
Realize, that's supposed to be her job. Seems to have always been a battle of egos between the two.

The young man who posed the question approached Clinton later and said he was trying to ask about "President Obama" and not Bill Clinton.
He tried to explain it was due to the poor job by the translator.

Seriously, I have no life.

Maybe with other diplomats, Bill and some others but when someone asks a question and is clearly nervous (like a male praying mantis), she could have asked him to re-state the question. She's a diplomat and her response was far from that.

Being tough and speaking her mind is one thing but this was just her showing a side that should remain hidden.

Don't get me wrong in no way, shape, or form am I a Clinton fan, but that guy was an idiot. When I read the title of the video I was thinking "oh wow...not again," but that was nothing compared to her past. I have no problem with what she said or the tone in which she said it.

I got blasted when I put up that video of Senator Boxer being a b@%ch to an army general. I thought that was way more out-of-line than Clinton.

I'm not sure I follow, how was the high school kid an idiot?
The interpreter translated his question wrong.

But at least the "Boxer Biotch" is just a Senator drilling a US general during a Senate hearing. That kind of crap happens everyday.

This is the Secretary of State toward a foreign national in their own country. Our country's highest diplomat. We really don't need a condescending attitude being publicly displayed by the one person who must present the best image for our nation.

I just thought her display was ridiculous. Even if they were asking about her husband, who cares. Brush the question off and move on. Don't treat the guy like he's a child. Hell, our own news correspondents ask worse questions here in the USA.

It's not like the guy asked if Bill still likes cigars.

I guess we all can't share your opinion. Your making it a bigger deal than the news media.

Well I am not exactly sure what happened there. Translators fault or stupid question (did not know it was a high school student) Why would the SOS be addressing high school students?

...No worse than the president apologizing for America IMO.

and people were surprised that Bill was getting "hummers" from an intern. I mean really? Can't picture Hillary slobbing the knob.

Now I've seen two versions: I've been reading the kid was a High School student, others say it was a University student.
All say it was poor translation.

I don't know....
She doesn't seem to be the statesman that the position demands or that the American people deserve / pay for.
Bush had less of a reaction when two shoes were winged at his head.:D
