Soldering isn't that hard and for a guy with the expertise of Chris it should be doable with one hand even. Crossovers are among the simplest circuits to make. you don't need a circuit board just a piece of plywood and the components with some leads. If this is a passive it's probably not more than a 2nd order filter. maybe a baffle step circuit and some impedance stuff.

Talked to a customer service agent and received an RMA and that the replacement parts where being shipped out UPS ground that day. Bear in mind, this company is in Portland and I am in Canada (packages can be stuck at customs for days) and I received the merchandise the next Friday. Unless something happened with the shipment, I would have doubts anything has even been sent. A tracking number would at least instill some confidence.

Leaving all else out of it, soldering with one hand would be extremely impressive if one could manage to pull it off. I have soldered a lot, I would not call myself an expert but I am experienced. I could not solder correctly with one hand. I am in no way defending Chris here but your statement would not be possible for more or less anyone of any level of soldering expertise.
