Its kinda of funny the posts made.
You say you should test out stuff before purchase, which is true.
But on the other hand when you try to discredit a piece of equipment on these types sites, you get hammered for doing so by people whom stated to test out stuff.

Opinions do suck because there is no 100% agreeable basis for such.

I too, have purchased items based on what these sites say, did all the research also which pointed it out to be as good as posted, only to find out its a piece of junk.


I do truely believe the Audio/Video hard corers are easily swayed hence the holics or phile endings placed upon Audio/Video.

As I said reviews are just a reference point, you "shouldn't" buy unless you try. It's always worked for me. I've never bought a guitar unless I can try it out first, ditto with my guitar amps. And if you bought "junk" take it back, that's why you always need to know store merchandise return policy.

The AXIOM M3TI'S are better

The writer forgot to mention the Axiom m3ti's as being a great example of how the folks at audioengine couldve designed a much better speaker. Using a 6.5 inch driver and being more flexible. While the amp they designed is probably great, the set as a whole is a poor implentation.

Trolls bad, questions good...

As much as I dislike trolls, I really have to respect the ability they have to ask open ended questions in such a manner as to keep a thread alive. If you need an example, just look at ventwood1's posts. Sometimes I envy the way they are able to write something in such a simple manner that someone will bite and tell you all sorts of different versions of what you are looking to learn about. Could be useful for finding out peoples opinions and such. I mean, some of the posts are soooo simple and vague, that you would think no one would bother to answer, yet they continually do - myself included.
