If we can get at least eight to ten AH ers to agree on a date maybe we can get the place booked for said date and start to build from there, I think it would be stellar all around, :D

Hi Bill post #35 right above I guessed at a time frame maybe it could work, I need to talk with Walter and get as many of you guys aboard and we can make it happen. http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/showpost.php?p=657424&postcount=35
.........ooops I'm so embarrassed! Okay, I just ran this by my CFO(wife;)) and she's open to the idea. The 8 hr drive will be rough and I'm not a much of a golfer. The resort itself looks great and has so much to offer(ie: nature trails and spa) that we'll have a great time regardless and I would really like to meet some of you guys.

I guess I'll keep close tabs on this thread from here on out!
Regards, Bill....:)
BTW...looks like your my dance partner this weekend...;)

I'm a long ways away, But I'll make a trip out of it. I need to get some money for fantasy football from some of you guys anyways.

I've never played golf before in my life but I'll play for money if anybody wants to.

Count me in.

This could still be about audio regardless of what the Dynamic Duo want to do to each other and maybe me. So Major Dave, how does this work best? Pick a date? It seems like somebody should put somebody in charge of something.

Just how many of us want to do this? 6? 12? 24? anymore than that and we're gonna need a belly dancer. Anyway once we establish the when and how many ... then what?

I want there to be a door prize. :)

Since Walter was nice enough to offer, I think we have to find out exactly what he has in mind.

Don't know how much the golfers will mind; It's still cold up there in April, and my guess still snow.

Agreed. The ball is in Walters court and we need to hear from him to see what would be possible if anything at this point.

I do have to say I feel and equal Sawz excitement about a GTG where ever it happens.

I am pleased that this idea has generated so much interest and I really believe we can make it happen, I was only making up a date to see how many people would respond so I think that with Walters attention and everyone making a suggestion we can come up with a date that would work for the best, I dont know if there will still be snow in April, maybe, if Obama starts his new cooling program lol. Global Warming means golf in the spring !
I really did manage to get a vendor to attend he is a great guy with some very fancy toys especially the new front projectors, we could really act like audio/video buffs , at least for a few hours :p

You know a few of us could just meet there. Drag our wives/girlfriends/boyfriends/pets (?) along, have a nice dinner together, spend the night (everybody in their own rooms), get together for some brunch, do what ever people do at resorts on weekend get aways.

... but I think in order to lure the Adams we would have to go whole hog on the Audio agenda. I guess if I had to I could bring some lightly modified Primus 360's, a pair of Dayton BR-1's that I gave the cabinets some extra love and I understand I have the Aperion Audio bipole/dipole surrounds that I won. I would love to see how my much loved el cheapo stuff compares to what money can buy. The Aperion's would be fun to check out what bipole/dipole actually sounds like.

But if I pack all that into the car the girl might not fit. :D

If she was inflatable, like Adam's, it wouldn't be a problem.
